Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

1. 18 years of age or older.

2. Current CPR certification.

3. Current First Aid certification.

4. Must have reliable transportation.

5. Ability to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance.

6. Acceptable DES background check.

7. Valid driver’s license, three years driving record, current auto insurance and registration.

8. Must have a smart phone

9. Must have at least 2 years of experience working with adults whom have a disability.

10. The ability to work in a team environment.

11. The ability to handle difficult situations

12. Ability to work flexible schedules.

13. Demonstrate proficient computer skills such as navigating Google Drive and Microsoft Word (resume building, document formatting, and professional documentation and emails).

14. Ability to be proactive and work independently.

15. Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. One or both of the following:

a. Associates degree from an accredited college or university in Behavioral Health, Special Education, Social Work or a related field.

 Two years as a job coach, teaching assistant or taught for a program where you have worked with individuals with disabilities, or habilitation provider may substitute for a degree and/or supervisory experience.
