This is a Product Development and Innovation role and we are looking for someone to join our team as a specialist focused on our Capacity product family suite. You will have overall ownership of product development for a given product . You will partner with product managers and engineering teams in developing a workflow to release products to the market . You will manage project s and teams to create new product and enhancement releases in accordance with the product roadmap . The successful interaction with management of multiple technical teams is essential. You will understand customer needs and the competitive landscape, as well as the latest technological innovations, in order to help drive and support product offerings. You will be responsible for provi d ing cost inputs to business case creation, facilitating the development of system architecture, technical requirements, design, implementation and testing associated with new and current products and services. We use the Scaled Agile Framework ( SAFe ) in conjunction with traditional project management to plan and execute o u r work. What you'll do day-to-day (with your colleagues):

  • Drive the overall alignment between the strategic product roadmap for a given product portfolio and the technical roadmap aimed at accomplishing the short- and long-term market goals with specific technology solutions.
  • Facilitate and collaborate in ideation brainstorming and concept framing.
  • Create cost-benefit analysis of technical solution options at various stages of the product development process spanning from preliminary business case to development-ready requirements (including CAPEX, COGS and Sustainment OPEX).
  • Pull together and gain consensus on business requirements (including product requirements, operational workflow requirements and non-functional system requirements) in line with the project objectives for Product Lifecycle M anagement efforts for a given product portfolio.
  • Solution technical designs, in collaboration with product engineering teams, domain architects and operators, with ultimate responsibility for the end-to-end solution results.
  • Draft and bundle proposed solutions into coarse-sized work packages and coordinate with software development teams on delivery plans and scope commitments while staying within the approved budget.
  • Manage required financial records including actuals, forecasts, and support required Technical Accounting and Asset Management processes.
  • Deliver on-time production- and market-ready solutions that achieve the business requirements and, working in conjunction with other teams, ensure that change management is executed to all impacted teams within schedule and scope commitments, while maintaining transparent status and risk management records.
M inimum requirements
  • United States Citizenship required.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering, or related field. Four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • 8 or more years of experience in related technical field required. A Master's degree may count for 2 years of experience
  • Successful track record managing technical projects requiring software development from initiation through completion.
  • Experience using a software development tracking tool such as Rally or Jira
  • Experience using traditional project management tools to track scope, schedule, budget
Preferred skills :
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate work and communication across disparate groups of individuals and levels in the organization. U nderstanding of product and software development processes and agile methodologies
  • Ability to u nderstand and interpret data to develop hypotheses, define experiments to prove (or disprove) them and carry them through to their conclusion
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data modeling
  • Skilled at developing and exercising cross-functional influence, translating between business owners and functional / technical teams
  • Thorough understanding of Product Lifecycle M anagement and taking a new product to market .
  • Experience with secure product design - focusing on customer data confi dentiality and integrity to ensure privacy and meet cybersecurity compliance
  • One or more professional certifications: SAFe Certified Agilist , PMP, CISSP, AWS Cloud Practitioner
The compensation range for this position is 98,250.00 - $163,750.00 USD annually, dependent on skills and experience. This position is also eligible for a bonus plan.
