Housekeeping Staff Wanted in Estes Park - Housing Provided

A beautiful 20 unit hotel on the river in Estes Park is looking to hire someone to be our primary cleaning person for the winter and spring and then to lead additional staff during the busy season.

Cleaning guest rooms includes changing bed linens and making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, and mopping. Perform daily general cleaning duties. Successful candidates will be reliable, honest, and have attention to detail. Must be able to work independently with little supervision. Must be able to climb stairs as there is no elevator access to the second floor.

There are housing options available. We can provide a furnished bedroom in a three bedroom house included or an unfinished three-bedroom house with discounted rent. The home is located on property but set away from the lodge.

This is a Full Time Position. Pay will be the same each week even though workload is considerably lower in the winter. We will use this time to deep clean rooms and wash/fold laundry. Our perfect candidate would have a partner/spouse who can do maintenance and snow removal.

Need to have valid employment documentation and a bank account to be eligible.

Knowledge and Experience

-high school diploma or equivalent preferred

-knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods

-knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials

-working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment

-physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend

-ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 30lbs)

-Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper

-Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance

-Customer-oriented and friendly

-Knowledge of English language

-sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors

-vacuum clean carpets, rugs and draperies

-shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery

-dust and polish furniture and fittings

-clean metal fixtures and fittings

-empty and clean trash containers

-dispose of trash in a sanitary manner

-clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers

-wipe down glass surfaces

make up beds and change linens as required

tidy up rooms

-wash windows as scheduled

-sort, wash, load and unload laundry

-sort, fold and put away clean laundry

-operate mechanized cleaning equipment

-maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition-

-monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements

-deep cleans in the winter
