Mobile Mechanic

Job Description

Duties to include:

Perform complete and accurate diagnosis of mechanical breakdowns, manually or by means of computerized diagnostic tools

Communicate effectively with dispatch office and customers throughout the repair process

Write accurate and complete estimates for customers and obtain approval for repairs

Order and facilitate delivery of parts for all repairs

Perform DOT inspections and miscellaneous shop repairs as requested by manager

Stock and perform scheduled maintenance on assigned service truck

Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Job may require weekend, evening, and on call availability

Must be able to lift up to 60+ lbs. on a regular basis

Candidate will be operating a brand new mobile service truck

Air-brakes, scan tool, and laptop knowledge is required. Must have valid drivers license with clean MVR. CDL helpful but not required.
