Type of Requisition: RegularClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: NoneJob Family: ProgrammingGDIT is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, test, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. Emphasis for this position will be on Medicare Hospital Quality Reporting functions.This is a remote based role: candidates must reside in the USResponsibilitiesDesigning, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and improving software.

Developing and maintaining API specifications using Swagger Editor.

Developing new features using the API first design approach.

Developing new features using acceptance test-driven development.

Working in and with small feature delivery teams: cross-functional, cross-component team that completes many end-to-end customer features, one by one.

Participating in product strategy, product design and product development activities.

Using lean and agile work management and engineering practices.

Managing project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.

Implementing test automation framework.

Automating non-functional tests, including performance, security, and accessibility.

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLSETS:BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience in application and/or website software development.

Experience with Medicare Quality Systems is a preferred but not required.

Experience working with at least one of the following front-end frameworks: Go, Java, Python.

Experience working with more than one of the following test automation tools: FitNesse, NUnit, JMeter, Cucumber, Katalon, SoapUI.

Experience working with one of the following front-end frameworks: Angular, React, VueJS, ECMA-based languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.

Experience working with the following: web application development, unix/linux environments, developing large scale systems and API services, secured REST-based API endpoints, Acceptance and Unit Testing.
