QA Food Technologist

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in the Oklahoma City area that is looking for a QA Food Technologist. Responsibilities: In this role, the QA Food Technologist will perform product evaluations for New and Existing products to ensure product meets company's specification criteria, second sourcing, cost reductions, and conformance to specifications QA Food Technologist will prepare evaluation reports and perform follow-up with supply chain partners Review product specifications to ensure consistency between products and specifications Assist in management of direct store delivery bread program QA Food Technologist will review plant food safety corrective action and provide recommendations to QA teamREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, Quality Sssurance or related field 1-2 years of experience preferred but not required Ability to work under light supervision Should be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office software applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong ability to collect data, analyzes information, define problems, and identify solutions Excellent time and project management skills Knowledge of food safety, HACCP and federal, state, and local regulations governing food products and restaurantsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
