Job Description: Provide day-to-day support for the client's applications. Design, develop, code, etc. New applications as needed. Design web applications as needed. Maintain and support mainframe application environments. Analyze existing code to translate to contemporary language code for client's requirements. Assist with the client's initiatives to modernize and automate. Responsibilities: - Designs, codes, compiles, tests, debugs, and documents Data Extraction, Transformation and Loading activities
- Designs develops and executes database backup and recovery plans
- Manages application database capacity planning, performance monitoring, and tuning
- Manages any specialized data handling activities.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory: - SQL Server, Administration and Performance Tuning
- Index design
- Use DMO's to collect query data, index data
- Extended Events
- SSIS or other relevant ETL software
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory: - Familiarity with Web Based Applications, Entity Framework
- Database DevOps Practices
- SSRS
- SSAS
- PowerBI/Tableau or other BI Platforms
- Data Warehousing design
- SQL Server concurrency and isolation
- Data movements features of SQL Server
- Experience in unemployment insurance including but not limited to benefits, tax, appeals, benefit payment control, data validation, and program management.
Qualification: - Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
