Job Description:The Manager 2 is the primary backup for the Director. This position is responsible for managing Applications Analysts, GA's, and Consultants. The manager must maintain and develop relationships with ITS and external vendors. Advance level project management and change management skills are required. The Manager will be responsible for the development of apps to support the needs of business and/or engineering and operational groups while maintaining and enhancing current Cloud based and home grown apps.

Job Duties:CMMS Administration, Maintenance, Integration Development: FAMIS Cloud app and Mobile App• Daily Administration: User security changes, supplier changes, crew changes, etc.• Support business office needs and requests for application changes• Primary liaison between vendor's support and LSU • Document\Report\Track system issues from inception to resolution with Famis support • Lead monthly vendor conference call and Famis review meeting• Coordinate maintenance and updates• Integration with Workday • Maintain and monitor logs to verify integration with Workday • Work with ITS to resolve issues• Gather requirements, develop and automate reports using FAMIS BI/Accruent Analytics• Consume FAMIS APIs to add/update new features to Famis modules

Management, Supervision, and Project Management:• Assist the Director with developing and implementing plans and goals for Facility and Property Oversight. • In the absence of the Director, provide supervision for all FSIT staff and daily IT operations • Provide expert level oversight, direction, and supervision for applications.• Supervise and evaluate Applications Manager and Applications Analyst, serving as leader, mentor coach, and trainer.• Direct Applications Manager in order to develop new applications and integrations to support the business. Direct Applications Analyst in order to support the business needs of the end users.• Recruitment and supervision of Graduate students.• Provide project coordination and management oversight for current and future applications.• Work as a liaison between ITS and vendors to make sure that LSU policies are adhered to.

Time Clock Plus Management:• Monitor Time Clock management application and install application upgrades when required• Integrations and reconciliations with Workday• Device Hardware\Software maintenance and troubleshooting• Develop adhoc reports for ops and business office needs. Upload of adhoc Holiday time.• Communication with customers and maintaining Time Change Forms

T-2 Parking Application: • Daily Administration and support of Parking cloud application• Supervisor - Supervise application analyst in the daily support of the T-2 application• Trainer - Train application analyst in the discipline of proper app administration with goal of analyst being able to take over daily administration with limited supervision. This would include end user support/security, communications/documentation, vendor liaison, enhancements, and Integrations.

Miscellaneous:• Update and maintain .NET based applications. Building Coordinator, FS Outage Notification, and FuelTrac websites. Oversee the migration of these web apps to a new platform by a future developer employee or GA. Manage FuelTrac Bank and Billing processes.• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:Education Level: Bachelor'sSpecific Degree: B.S. in Computer Science or degree with programming related curriculum. Years of experience: 5 years experience in Software DevelopmentSpecific Experience: Experience leading teams and providing applications support.

Preferred Qualifications:Education Level: Master'sSpecific Degree: Computer Science or relatedSpecific Experience: Experience with Cloud apps FAMIS, Workday, TimeClock Plus, and T2 Flex. Expertise in web technologies and programming languages. (Including ASP.NET, C#.NET, HTML, XML, SQL, PowerShell, Python, VB, VBScript, Perl, PHP, Java Script, JQuery, Selenium, and ColdFusion)

Specific or Physical Qualifications:Due to the nature of this position and/or position responsibilities this position shall be subject to drug/alcohol testing in accordance with University Policy Statement 67. In accordance with University Policy Statement 18, this position is considered essential and may be required to report or stay on campus in the event of an emergency or closure. Position is subject to an office environment and must be able to operate a computer, telephone, and other office machinery, remain seated for extended periods of time, bend, squat, twist, move about to accomplish task, ability to receive and exchange detailed information through oral and written communication, make substantial movements of the wrist, hands or fingers.
