Windows System Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is looking for a Windows System Administrator to support one of our clients in Jacksonville, FL. In this role, the Windows System Administrator will be tasked with maintaining and managing the configuration baseline of operating systems, software applications, and security compliance. The client is open to candidates that live within 8 hours of North Florida with a preference for candidates that are local to Jacksonville, FL.Responsibilities: Windows System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization's infrastructure servers running Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016 Develop automated scripts using PowerShell and patching as needed As a Windows System Administrator, you will troubleshoot and resolve VMWare environment issues Installing, configuring and maintain servers and networks Windows System Administrator will be overseeing system performance and troubleshooting issuesREQUIREMENTS: Preferred experience of 5 or more years of hands on experience working in Windows System Administration - preferably on an Operations team Strong working knowledge of at least two operating systems including but not limited to Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2019 and Apple OSX environments required Strong background with Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), PowerShell and VMware Experience working with solutions like CyberArk, Active Directory, eDirectory, and Entrust Prior exposure to both Nutanix and AWS is a plusKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
