They are looking for a L1 IT Technician to support their new office in Portsmouth. This is a great long-term contract opportunity with a solid company.Responsibilities:

  • Experience in desktop / desk side support / Windows based support
  • Provide hardware / software / network problem diagnosis / resolution via telephone / email / chat for customer's end users
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with vendors and local and remote support staff
  • Administer and provide User account provisioning
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to provide support on own with limited oversight
  • Administer and provide user account provisioning
  • Technical helpdesk or technical call center experience a plus
  • Handle new hire and refresh devices onsite per the processes provided by the Client
  • Hands-on work experience with the following: -User account creation for Active Directory -Windows Operating systems -Imaging desktops and laptops -Knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange 2003 / 2007 -ITSM ticketing tools - Service Now a plus
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years help desk, customer service, and support experience with problem solving involving hardware, software, and networks.
  • Phone support experience necessary.
  • Basic ITIL knowledge for Service Desk, Incident and Problem Management
  • Technical helpdesk or technical call center experience a plus
  • Disciplined, systematic problem-solving skills required
  • Hands-on work experience with the following: -Windows Operating systems -Imaging desktops and laptops -Knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange 2003 / 2007 -ITSM ticketing tools - Service Now a plus -User account creation for Active Directory -Previous experience supporting laptop, desktops, and printers
