RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client, one of the world's largest financial institutions, is building multiple Full Stack Java Scrum Teams in Wilmington (DE), Plano (TX), Tampa (FL), Jersey City (NJ) and Columbus (OH). This posting is for 3 senior 3+ year Java Spring Boot API Cloud Developers in Wilmington, DE. This may lead to fulltime opportunity with client.As a Java Spring Spring-Boot Engineer, you will provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within mature technology environments. Perform full life cycle design and development for the Platforms Applications. The Java Spring Boot API Cloud Developer will assume ownership of the coding standards, code review process, source code management, and continuous integration process for the team.As a Java Spring Boot API Cloud Developer, will be responsible for the following: Evaluate project requests to provide sizing estimates Provide conceptual solutions and application architecture strategies Assist business partners with requirements definition Assist business analysts with functional designs Create technical designs Perform hands-on development for defects and new functionalities Assist and guide junior developers with build phase activities Assist with defect resolution during system testing and user acceptance testing Create implementation plans and back out plans Oversee implementations and post-implementation support phasesREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent 3+ yearsof software development using Java, J2EE, XML, MQ/Kafka and used Java frameworks - Spring, Spring-boot, Hibernate, REST Solid Java Spring/Spring Boot and design techniques with experience in large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs with solid understanding of distributed concepts, patterns and multi-threading Experience and understanding of Cloud Development and Deployment Knowledgeable in developing RESTful micro services with technical stack such as Cassandra and Kafka is a plus and will be learned Experience with software development lifecycle Exposure/knowledge of an agile development environment Strong debugging & technical troubleshooting skills; Knowledge of code testing techniquesNice to have: Payment industry experienceKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
