We look forward to speaking with you! location: BEAVERTON, Oregonjob type: Permanentsalary: $75,000 - 85,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:Description We are looking for a Database Administrator to join our engineering team. This position will be spearheading the support of our SQL Server fleet and enhancing database features such as creating new tables, procedures and views to support applications coming online. Our ideal candidate is experienced with evolutionary database design and other modern database engineering practices.

Day to day you will
  • Be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of business-critical SQL server infrastructure.
  • Partner with internal teams to provide guidance SQL query optimization for our existing and future applications
  • Design and build data structures including tables, views, stored procedures, and other database objects as required in SQL Server
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to validate system behavior, identify problems, and support business users
  • Generate and review design documents based on project requirements and final technical solution

What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related engineering field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in SQL development and data modeling
  • Proficiency with T-SQL, SSMS, and other data-related tools
  • Experience working with developers and test engineers
  • strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
  • Available for after-hours releases and production support
