- 8+ years of experience in information technology
- Experience with application servers (API, XML), web services (SOAP or REST), web server (Apache, Tomcat, IIS, .NET), database technologies (Oracle, SQL)
- Programming language knowledge (PERL scripting, Python, C#, JavaScript, or Java coding) is a plus.
- Technical background with messaging oriented middleware(Active MQ, IBM MQ)
- Experience with batch scheduling software like Control-M and/or Autosys a plus
- Ability to build and run SQL queries for maintenance and analysis
- Basic familiarity with software deployment cycle
- Assess the business impact of incidents
- Help to coordinate the mitigation of production incidents and problems in Production
- Advocating for production stability and supportability by working directly with development teams and Vendors to find opportunities for improvements
- Preferred experience with Continuous Integration practices/tools and Open Source Frameworks (Jenkins, GIT/Stash).
