Location: Omaha, NE Description: Our client is currently seeking a Training Specialist JOB DESCRIPTION: A Specialist, Training is responsible for developing, coordinating, scheduling, delivering and following up on training programs with respect to operations of products and services this includes but is not limited to vote tabulation and voter registration training and certificate programs. Applicant must have knowledge in adult learning and curriculum development techniques along with moderate instructional design experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Demonstrate strong presentation skills and knowledge of instructor led classroom and /or on-line computer based training (CBT) that support the full array of product lines and services among customers and employees. 2. Develop and promote efforts to build and enhance co-sourcing and/or outsourcing providers for the purpose of expanding the breadth and depth and quality of the training function. 3. Facilitate communications across customers and internal stakeholders focused on timely and effective issues resolution among customers with product functionality items. 4. Identify and evaluate training needs and conduct training as required to ensure end user know-how in the operation of software and hardware products among clients. 5. Provide excellent, positive customer service and technical support with respect to customer training needs. Must demonstrate excellent communication and organization skills. 6. Serve as liaison with respect to logistics and program support among deployed 3rd party trainers of clients products and services. 7. Provide administrative support to the training department including but not limited to maintenance of the networked training database and entry/extraction from various financial and customer support tools. 8. Develop facilitation guides and manuals to enhance the effectiveness of learning. 9. Requirements Education: Must have a Bachelor's degree and/or certification in Adult Learning or Instructional Design; or related degree Experience: At least 2 years' experience including: Knowledge of adult learning and/or instructional design Management of complex software products in a high tech environment Familiarity with business analysis processes is highly desired Competencies: Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, concepts and applications Strong communication skills including written, presenting and influencing effectively Excellent interpersonal skills including listening, negotiation and presentation skills Well-developed commitment to customer service and a passion for quality over quantity Platform skills proficiency Personal effectiveness/credibility Licenses/Certifications Required: Certification in Adult Learning and/or instructional design preferred Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
