Job Title: Mid Oracle Forms/Reports and PL/SQL DeveloperJob Location:Rockville,MDContract Position on C2C Mid Oracle Forms/Reports and PL/SQL Developer (Oracle)The Mid Oracle Forms/Reports and PL/SQL Developer designs, develops, documents, unit-tests, implements and deploys Oracle forms-based applications and PL/SQL objects to support business requirements. He/ she must follow CTIS’ approved software development life cycle methodologies including Agile, Scaled Agile (SAFe®) and all processes as required from time to time. A: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Interacts with the business analysis team to understand project requirements. • Develops product design documents, technical design specifications.• Responsible for providing overall database support with concentration in back-end programming. • Ensure integration of entire system or subsystem. Performs unit testing and assist in developing automation test scripts. • Provide maintenance and troubleshooting support to the helpdesk and/ or maintenance team to help resolve technical issues with production systems by debugging, research and investigation. • Applies standard coding practices and industry standards. B: EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. QUALIFICATIONS • Strong understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)• Strong Experience with data modeling, normalization and denormalization techniques• Strong Advanced working SQL and P/SQL knowledge and hands on development using Oracle PL/SQL• Strong experience with oracle functions, procedures, triggers, packages• Strong Experience in query performance tuning, application programs and instances.• Experienced with unit testing and automation testing frameworks• Experience with Oracle Version 12c, 18c and 19c. EXPERIENCE 5+ years of recent experience with the following technologies is required: • Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, JSON, XML• Oracle Forms and Reports •Data modeling tools – Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler or Erwin or Sparx Enterprise Architect• Selenium, SeLite, TOAD/SQL Developer C: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS and/or MEMBERSHIPS Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred Sun/ Oracle Certified PL/SQL Programmer desirable D: COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS This job requires interaction with scientists, program managers, senior executives, end-users, programming staff, administration, and support personnel. The ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts both orally and in written documents is critical. The ability to use reliable and secure equipment and work independently and remotely using digital tools is required. The candidate must have Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
