Production Support Specialist

- 4-6 years of related IT experience in operations, handling production support issues or application development and also supporting applications on the cloud.
- Bachelor' or Masters degree in computer science or related field
- Significant experience with AWS platform services (certification would be a plus)
- Significant Code/Script development using PowerShell, Python
- Significant Experience supporting AWS based applications
- Experience working with Snowflake
- Proficient with ETL/ELT processes with hands on knowledge of SSIS and other database extraction tools
- ServiceNow administration/development
- SQL server 2012, SSIS, SSRS
- Working knowledge of stored procedures and T-SQL
- Experience working with Code versioning systems (TFS/SVN/GIT)
- Experience working Ticketing systems (JIRA/Service Now)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office toolset
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently or in team settings on complex production issues.
- Candidate should have effective verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate across different levels of the organization
- Working ability to effectively recognize and manage interpersonal communication needs
- Ability to analyze, resolve and document problems and resolutions
- Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural teams, excellent inter-personal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation. Ability to work independently or part of a team.
- Understanding of software development process, change management and incident management.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently or in team settings on complex production issues.
