Kelly is seeking a Data Center Lab Technician IV for our client in the Semiconductor Industry. This 2+-month assignment offers competitive pay and great benefits. Pay: $32/hour (W-2) Contract Length: 2+Month contract role with plans to extend (NO C2C) Location: Hillsboro, OR This role will be 100% On-Site. Hours: M-F 8am-5pmJob Description: Technician will be responsible for managing platforms and networks to support Client group in end users and Client teams. Tasks required for this service will be:
- Install Server including CPU, memory, storage and any required platform hardware accelerators
- Network setup including switch configuration if required
- Install limited # of operating systems including Linux, Windows and VMware
- Install BIOS and FW upgrades on Client Servers
- Provide hardware and network troubleshooting support on-site
This supports requires a Technician with the desired skillset - Server hardware installation experience
- Linux experience
- Network setups experience
- Automation - e.g. BASH and Ansible scripting
Minimum Educational Experience: - AS degree + 10 years of experience or BS + 6 years experience.
