Your new opportunity at Nine.The Group Audience Insights team focuson delivering a world-class audience insights capability to generate actionable insights with which to drive successful marketing, product and content development across the full publishing, broadcast, client growth and product portfolio. The team aims to equip stakeholders with audience insight to underpin evidence-based decision making and go-to market strategies.
The Senior Research Executive plays a key role in the successful day-to-day project management and running of quantitative research projects across a variety of stakeholders. With a key focus on proactiveness, accuracy and timeliness you will be in your element delivering insightful and actionable reports across the business.
Day to day you will:Contributes to end-to-end quantitative research studies including understanding the brief, contributing to questionnaire design, data interpretation, reporting and presenting
Lead smaller-scale studies, working closely with more senior team members for guidance
Runs analysis and the development of data deliverables including data weighting, coding and banner tables using research software
Astute project management and administration across the majority of the teams’ quantitative research projects
Manage and conduct research studies using our reader panels ensuring high levels of engagement and a positive experience for panellists
Support on user testing research and other qualitative projects
Conduct desk research and analysis of existing data sets(such as media consumption data across digital, print, TV and radio measurement data sets)
Effective communication across the Audience Insights team that contributes to successful projects and aligns with our team values
Qualifications
Enough about us, let's talk about youIn order to be successful for this role, you will ideally have:
Tertiary qualification in a related discipline e.g. psychology, marketing, economics, business, sociology
Strong numeracy skills, analytical thinking and excellent attention to detail
Demonstrated capability and experience in the technical aspects of research - survey programming, data processing, sample design, data weighting and development of banner tables
Experience using statistics software such as Q or SPSS for analysis
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple research projects to timing deadlines with 100% accuracy
Proficient PC skills especially MS Office skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint or G Suite)
Good organisational skills, project and time management and ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Self-motivated and enthusiastic approach to team work and supporting a number of stakeholders and team members across various functions of the broadcast & publishing business
