Job Description

Job purpose: Contribute to client and internal associate competency and skill development through the successful delivery of interactive and engaging NielsenIQ training programs and learning experiences that educate and excite users about the value and analytic use of NielsenIQ data and tools.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate high-quality, engaging instructor-led classroom and virtual training that delights participants and drives user adoption of NielsenIQ’s data and platforms

  • Employ engaging facilitation/presentation skills to deliver instructor-led training sessions that enable participants to acquire new knowledge/skills and inspires confidence in participants to leverage their new skills in order to drive better business results

  • Independently and effectively communicate the value and benefits of NielsenIQ data and platforms, and the application of these to address key business questions

  • Identify and understand important client-specific business issues and learning needs to create personalized training sessions

  • Display confidence and maintain a professional demeanor in stressful or unplanned situations including working through technical issues and responding to client questions during training sessions

  • Achieve and maintain CPS industry, NielsenIQ data and platform proficiency offering subject matter expertise when needed

  • Work cross-functionally with internal key stakeholders including client team members to adapt training materials to sessions of varying lengths and audience sizes that possess varying skill sets

  • Participate in collaborative cross-team forums to share NielsenIQ data and platforms knowledge and to promote the development of best practices

  • Evaluate the success of training by assessing achievement of learning objectives and transfer of knowledge to continuously improve training curriculums and identify future learning needs

  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Skills, experience & education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field; Learning & Development; Communications; Marketing or equivalent education/experience

  • 2+ years of software training experience to audiences of up to 25 participants

  • Knowledge of NielsenIQ data and platforms and/or CPG industry preferred

  • Strong training/learning development background with an understanding of adult learning principles

  • Self-starter with demonstrated analytic skills, problem-solving skills and high attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner

  • Has a natural curiosity and ability to probe into highly technical topics and translate into more simple, relatable & compelling training content

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong presentation and facilitation/training skills

  • Can do attitude, demonstrated client centricity and relationship management skills

  • Ability to multi-task and capable of independent decision making with a bold, nimble and collaborative approach to problem-solving

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
