Computer Vision Engineer

Job Description

You will work with our Denver and China teams to bring computer vision into our products. This will include innovating what combination of hardware and software most efficiently help our robots perceive their environment.

• Sensor selection and integration
• Develop software for localizing the robot from QR codes
• Develop software for determining the exact position of products on a pallet to guide a picking arm
• Develop VISLAM system for our mobile robots
• R&D on new methods of obstacle avoidance and navigation using various visual sensors.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Computer Science, Automation, Mathematics or other related field
• Strong fundimentals in algorithms, data structures and software design
• 2+ years of experience with at least one object oriented programming language (preferably C/C)
• 1+ years of experience in Computer vision or image processing
• 1+ years of experience in machine learning or deep learning
• 2+ years of experience with OpenCV or similar library
• Linux development familiarity
• Interest or experience in one or more of the following fields: pattern recognition, signal processing, controls, numerical methods, computational geometry

Prefered Qualifications

• Experience with sensor integration
• Experience working with real world systems
• Experience with ROS (moveit, tf2, etc) / Gazebo / rviz
