Job Description
Looking for a team player with initiative and excellent interpersonal skills that are flexible, adaptable, creative and results oriented for Warehouse Pre-Sort position. The position involves sorting and tearing down material from incoming shipments to determine final disposition.
Seeking specifically for those applicants with Microsoft Office experience.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Although this may be your primary duty or function, you are expected to be cross-trained in other areas of the business and assist in those areas on an as-needed basisPre-sort incoming shipmentso Material is brought to Sort/Teardown work stations one pallet at a time
o Use hand and air tools to de-manufacture material
o Separate according to material type (plastics, metals, sellable material; tear down material)
o Weigh all sorted material
o Record on weight sheet in appropriate category
o Removal of all asset tags
o Meet daily quotas

Physical Demands
Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
Repetitive motion movements using wrists, hands and /or fingers
Must be able to push/pull 1000 pounds using a pallet jack
Must use and /or wear required safety equipment at all times
Able to hear, see, talk
o Hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information
o Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
o Speaking abilities to frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to use floor scales and mobile scales
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in the English language
Internet search
Ferrous and non-ferrous metals classification
Commodities separation and classification
Vast knowledge of focus materials and proper handling of such
Additional Information
Successful completion of Background Investigation to include but not limited to Social Security Trace/Validation; Criminal Felony & Misdemeanor Search (all counties of residence),Statewide Criminal Search (all states of residence) and Employment Verification for the past 7 years; Drug Testing; Subsequent random Background Investigation and Drug Testing.
