3PL Transportation Manager

My client is a large Global Transportation Company with a USA Transport Division. They have a need for an 3PL Transportation Manager based in the Hall County, GA area.

As their 3PL Transportation Manager, you will work in an office environment and will be involved with domestic logistics/distribution and FTL transportation. As with any operations management in transportation you will have periods of being busy logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, managing change, analytics and strategic planning. You will have 7 employees & 3 Supervisors under your span of control.

• Achieving department budget in both sales and Net Revenue
• Overseeing day to day operation including but not limited to timely load coverage, timely customer care, timely billing, timely internal and external reporting and settlement.
• Stabilizing daily/monthly operation by overseeing all staff activities
• Reviewing KPI in high level and filling all voids to fulfill all aspect of department duties
• Generating daily/weekly/monthly reports for internal and external purposes

• 5+ years of domestic logistics, distribution, and asset truck (FTL focus) operation.
• Experience with Truck Brokerage using Load Boards and outside truck carriers to help cover excess freight and any service gap that arises with their asset-based trucks.
• 3 years Mgmt experience.
• Advanced computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience in supply chain, whse, change management, analytics, and strategic planning.
• Nice to have; reverse logistics experience.

• $70K - $85K salary (TBD by salary history & experience)
