Yard Personnel Roles/Responsibilities

Loading and Unloading of Products in a safe and timely manner

Collect and read load slips and invoices from customers and office

Make sure product loaded matches load slips and invoices

Put orders and loads together ahead of time

Daily inspection of Forklifts and Loaders along with preventative Maintenance

Organize and rebuild returned pallets if necessary

Cut products on masonry saw in safe manner and to specification

Cut steel products (Lintels & Angle Iron) on chop saw in safe manner and to specification

Keep yard clean and organized

Follow lead of Yard Foreman

Block-Lite Employee General Requirements

Be on time

Self-Motivated

Willingness to do whatever tasks need to be done

Team working skills

Concern for quality of work and efficiency

Yard Personnel Requirements

Clean Drug Test

Forklift Certification (Block-Lite in house training)

Good customer service skills
