Assurant Digital and Omnichannel Services software delivery team is looking for an Senior Sitefinity Developer that analyzes requirements and designs, codes, tests, installs and maintains application systems, programs, functions, services and other related software components. We need you to provide leadership, technical guidance and mentoring to others in areas of acquired expertise. You will work in a team setting supporting multiple lines of business to help deliver solutions in a challenging and fast-paced atmosphere.Some of the things you will need to do are:
- Analyze requirements and design solutions for approved projects and change requests of high complexity and risk
- Design/develop system, application and program code according to business and technical requirements
- Participate in quality assurance and testing to achieve quality objectives
- Implement solutions
- Provide system support
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of the business operations and strategic imperatives of Assurant
We want someone with these basic qualifications:- 3+ years of experience utilizing Sitefinity CMS platform
- 5+ years of experience in .Net and/or client/server and n-tier development principles including understanding of Object Oriented modeling, analysis, design and programming
- 5+ years of experience using methodology and development concepts for .Net applications and/or Windows and Web-based Services including Micro-services solutions
- 3+ years of practicing DevOps
- Internally driven to experiment and learn
- Understanding of quality assurance and testing procedures, processes and techniques employed within areas of technical specialty
- Effective oral and written communication skills
Additional qualifications that help you stand out:- Experience with: C#.NET, XML, XLST, JavaScript, WCF, WSS, JSON, OAuth, SQL, Azure
- Knowledge of the Azure ecosystem and how to leverage cloud-based solutions
- Understanding of Microservice based architecture patterns
- Documentation skills to translate requirements into specifications and program objects, functions and systems
- Estimation skills of cost, effort and duration of product deliverables of high complexity
- Analysis skills for technical problems and solutions of elevated risk
- Experience with Automic job scheduling software
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Sufficient knowledge of SQL server, including experience writing scripts and stored procedures
- Experience utilizing Octopus Deploy
- Application development experience with Angular
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
