Job Description: Our investment banking client, located in NYC is looking for a W2 Consultant for a Regulatory Reporting assignment. Candidates should be local to NYC. Currently the role is remote but can move to on-site in the future in a hybrid capacity.
  • Preparation of daily 15c3-1 daily net capital computation for the client, a US Broker Dealer.
  • Compile weekly/monthly capital reports for senior management and other departments.
  • Assist with preparing the monthly FOCUS report.
  • Strong accounting knowledge in the finance industry to ensure adequacy of underlying accounting records.
  • Coordination with multiple groups across the organization to confirm financial data and static data for regulatory reports.
  • Support projects related to new regulatory requirements and enhancements to ensure the firm is compliance with regulatory rules.

THE SKILLS YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB:
  • Regulatory or Accounting experience in the financial industry
  • Knowledge of 15c3-1 & 15c3-3
  • Microsoft Excel proficient (Pivot Tables, V-Look ups, Macros)
  • Highly proactive, resourceful and collaborative
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
