Position Description

Role is a Business Analyst who will work closely with Treasurer Office employees and will be responsible for:
  • Translating developer notes and information into business procedural documentation
  • This is achieved by hands on use of the tax system
  • Use the developer notes to perform the functions in the system
  • Capture images and document the business steps
  • The steps will be documented in templates created to produce user manuals
  • The user manuals will be used to train other
  • Treasurer Office resources in the organization.
  • The And perform Fit GAP assessments of system functionality
  • The resources will also assist the client resources in developing their writing skills by providing guidance and feedback as requested

Experience Required
  • Five (5) years of business systems analysis and a preferred three (3) years of industry experience An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered in substitution for the minimum requirements on a year for year basis.
Experience Preferred
  • In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle specifically related to: analysis, requirements gathering, design, software testing, quality assurance standards, training and implementation support.
  • Advanced skills in MS Project, Visio, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience with relational databases (SQL) preferred.
  • Experience with automated testing in an application development environment preferred. SharePoint and Team Foundation Server experience preferred.
  • Agile software development methodology a plus.
Education Required
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or a related field
Education Preferred
