Job Purpose or Summary: As the Information Security Analyst you will plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information. You will assess system vulnerabilities for security risks, and propose and implement risk mitigation strategies. You may be required to ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure.Responsibilities:Maintaining a comprehensive and holistic system view while addressing stakeholder security and risk concerns.Ensuring the effectiveness and suitability of the security elements of the system as an enabler to mission/business success.Ensuring that relevant threat and vulnerability data is considered in support of security-relevant decisions.Provide the evidence necessary to support assurance claims and to substantiate the determination that the system is sufficiently trustworthy.Conduct security risk management activities, producing related security risk management information, and advising the engineering team and key stakeholders on the security-relevant impact of threats and vulnerabilities to the mission/business supported by the system.Analyze, interpret, and recommend solutions for system shortfalls, discrepancies, or improvements in technologies and security requirements.Provide input to project risks, mitigation strategies and issues.Duties and responsibilities for this role may require periodic visits to the facility in China Lake.

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in related discipline3+ years of related experienceExperience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology, DoD Security Directives, Policies, Publications and Regulations, and DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP)Possess strong system analysis, problem-solving and written and verbal communication skillsAbility to utilize COTS/GOTS and custom tools and processes/procedures in order to scan, identify, contain, mitigate and remediate vulnerabilities, and intrusionsFamiliar with integrating security into DevOps pipelinesMust have an active DoD Secret security clearanceMust be a U.S. citizenMust be able to obtain IAT II Privileged AccessWindows OS CertificationSecurity+ CE CertificationApplicant selected for this position must be able to obtain and/or maintain a security clearance or access.U.S. Citizenship required.
