Qualifications You may qualify for the GS-14 grade level, if you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level performing the following duties:
  • Implementing policies, procedures, and directives related to the protection of Critical Infrastructure.
  • Evaluating critical infrastructure security methods and procedures.
  • Reviewing and interpreting new directives and guidelines concerned with security activities affecting Critical Infrastructure.
  • Serving as a liaison to other organizations on Critical Infrastructure Security matters.

    Promotion Potential: The full performance level of this position is GS-14. This is a non-supervisory position. Pursuant to Executive Order 12654 and DHS policy, DHS is committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace and, therefore, conducts random and other drug testing of its employees in order to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
