Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry in their New York, NY location. This is a 12 month + contract position.

Requirements:
  • Strong development skills (.NET/C#, OOP, Design Patterns)
  • Experience with WCF, WPF
  • TIBCO or messaging equivalent
  • N-tier architecture
  • Strong database knowledge (Sybase/SQL/Oracle)
  • Experience with database performance and tuning a plus
  • Understanding of Agile Concepts Desired Skills
  • Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD/BDD)
  • Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)

Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of Stock loan / Securities Finance a plus
  • Knowledge of the trade lifecycle (Trading, Middle Office, Settlements) a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer science or equivalent Minimal Experience required (# of years of experience) including field and industry
