Senior Applications ManagerThe Senior Manager Applications, Reporting and Analytics will report to the VP of IT and provide leadership and support the successful deployment of the Information Technology strategy. They will provide leadership to a team of Business Analysts and Report Developers and be the primary liaison with the business functions and third-party partners.Responsibilities

  • Develop, refine, and execute an application and reporting strategy to support the business objectives
  • Provide oversight and management to the IT Application and Reporting Teams to deliver IT services
  • Collaborate with all business functions across multiple regions to understand their specific application and reporting needs
  • Focal point for communicating system problems within the department and collaborates with other teams and vendors on changes, fixes, and updates
  • Manages the testing process and identifies opportunities for improvement
  • Provides the team with prioritization guidance and negotiates resolution of conflicting priorities across departments in support of the business objectives.
  • Sets and measures performance objectives and provides regular one-on-one feedback to all members of the team
  • Hires and evaluates the performance of direct reports and provides ongoing coaching and staff development
  • Manages delivery and SLAs by guiding incident resolution, problem management, maintenance, and enhancement tickets raised by the end-users for assigned applications and reporting
  • Maintain, optimize, and refine existing applications and reporting
  • Works closely with all other IT personnel in identifying, evaluating, selecting, and implementing specific information technologies that support the business plans and IT strategies
  • Ensure team adheres to policies and procedures that are compliant with industry and regulatory policies
  • Assists with the preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets
  • Design, implement, and enhance system processes and procedures
  • Work with 3rd-party vendors on support and maintenance issues that may include specification design and development oversight, as well as testing and integration within other applications
Background:
  • 5+ years of experience leading IT teams to implement and support business systems such as ERP, CRM, and Warehouse Management
  • Experience working in a manufacturing and distribution environment preferred
  • Experience in implementing and supporting reporting and analytics platforms. Microsoft Power BI preferred.
  • Customer service attitude and the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively regarding complex technical matters with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience presenting to senior-level leadership or other decision-makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences
