Primary Therapist

$2000 Bonus. $1000 after 6 months of employment and $1000 after 1 year of employment

Third Way Center is seeking a Primary Therapist to lead a multidisciplinary treatment team at one of our residential facilities working with high risk male and female youth ages 13-20. We are looking for a creative and dynamic set of people who like to be challenged and seek to learn and better themselves professionally and personally. Our mission is to provide a continuum of services in a home-like environment where at-risk youth can work through their traumas, learn to take responsibility for their actions and lives to become productive members of society.

Therapeutic responsibilities of the position include group, individual, and family therapy with a heavy focus on milieu therapy and management to include creating therapeutic alliances, knowing histories, researching as needed, and understanding psychological dynamics. Case management responsibilities include developing treatment plans as well as timely completion of paperwork requirements. Supervising and delegating responsibilities to team counselors and empowering and advocating for your youth. Ability to work as a team and take direction utilizing your team is a must.

Minimum Requirements: Master's Degree from an accredited social work program or counseling program and ability to receive provisional or professional licensure from the state of Colorado. The candidate must possess a valid Colorado driver's license, have a clear criminal and driving record, the ability to obtain QMAP, and CPR/First Aid certification if not already certified as well as an extensive background check. We follow Federal drug screening laws.
