Job Title: Cloud Development Engineer

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Duration: 6 Months Description:We seek a Senior Staff Cloud Development Engineer with an advanced degree to work on distributed networked systems. The ideal engineer will have outstanding communication skills, demonstrate high ethical standards, and be a team player. If you enjoy challenging conventional thinking, innovating disruptive open-source technologies, and rapid entrepreneurial execution, this position is for you. Basic Qualifications:
  • MSc or Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields with a solid background in networked systems.
  • Demonstrated integrity of presenting research data
  • Value Inclusiveness and being a team player
  • 1+ year of industry experience
  • Strong programming abilities in Go, C/C, Rust, or Python
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP
  • Understanding of Microservices architectures
Preferred Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes is a big plus but not a requirement
  • Deep understanding of Linux System Programing
  • Proven experience designing and implementing distributed algorithms
