Our work depends on a Data Engineer joining our team to support a US Government Agency customer in Fort Lee, VA. The selected Data Engineer can work remotely, anywhere in the CONUS United States.At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Data Engineer supporting this federal government customer, you will be trusted member of a software engineering team focused on improving existing defense software.In this role, a typical day will include:Basic knowledge using analytic development tools for data gathering or analysis

Monitor, gather, and communicate analytic solutions performance issues.

Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate

Perform regression and unit testing.

Participate in QA peer reviews

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:Proficient in Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik

IAT II or above qualifying certification (most common is CompTIA Security+)

Years of experience required: 3+ years of direct related experience

Bachelors degree or hig
