Position Title: Certified PMP IT Project Manager Location: Wayne/King of Prussia area of PA. Sit onsite at client.PERMANENT PLACEMENT ROLEStart Date: ASAP Required: current PMP certification required. SAP experience is preferred. Industry experience: manufacturing or chemicals This position is responsible for managing enterprise applications from an IT PM perspective. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this position; however, this is not an all-inclusive listing. Other duties may be assigned.· Manage the entire project lifecycle from project initiation through closure· Be accountable for on-time and on-budget project execution in IT, serve as the first point of contact/liaise between project stakeholders and project team to ensure project success· Create, execute, monitor and revise project plan to meet changing project requirements and resources; plan, prepare for and facilitate all project status meetings; manage resolution of project issues including proper escalation to project stakeholders.· Identify project resource requirements and timelines and negotiate with IT service owners on resource availability and allocation; lead team members to complete assigned tasks within specified timelines and ensure all team members feel engaged, productive and effective· Facilitate project procurement (products and services required by third parties) and consult IT resources as needed; manage project time and cost expectations with project stakeholders· Collaborate with Project Owner and stakeholders to assess project risks and ensure mitigation strategies are in place· Manage project budget· Provide direction and support to project team· Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders· Facilitate issue identification and resolution· Document project change requests, assess change impact· Conduct project Lessons Learned meetings and use results to continuously improve project and IT processes; promote project management process and the institutionalization of project management standards and best practices through mentoring and lead-by-example· Ensure successful transition of applications or infrastructure changes to Customer and Production Support teams QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.o Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science, and/or business, or equivalent work experienceo 6 – 8 years experience in an Information Technology project management and/or lead systems analysis functiono SAP work experience from a Project Manager perspective is requiredo Demonstrated understanding of all aspects of a full life cycle project implementation and supporto Excellent written and oral communications skills; ability to lead discussions, present ideas to audiences of all sizes, and interact with all levels of the organizationo Knowledge of SAP functionality and configuration a pluso Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well and cooperate with others to effectively coordinate activities and accomplish goalso Proven ability to understand complex business processes and suggest possible solutionso Experience leading and managing project team members and deliverableso PMP certification and familiarity with SAP ASAP methodology a pluso Experience in wholesale distribution a pluso High degree of proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project is a musto Demonstrated ability to analyze and provide effective problem solvingo Willingness and ability to travel as required
