Planate Management Group is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, USA with a technical support center in the Philippines that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies.

The Master Electrician will be responsible for inspecting and testing electrical circuits and electrical equipment to ensure that it is operational and does not create a hazard to personnel. These inspections will support a team conducting facility technical inspections.

This position is a 6-month contract, based in Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands and is contingent on the award of the contract.

Key responsibilities:

Inspect performance of electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement

Recommend electrical system additions or modifications

Inspect the facility to ensure compliance to standards and regulations

Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies

Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices

Document the results of the facility inspections

Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications To be successful in the role:

Licensed Master Electrician by U.S. state, municipality, or territory or equivalent qualifications/certifications

At least five (5) years of experience in handling electrical circuit planning

Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
