GDIT is currently seeking at Data Scientist in Washington, DC to support our customers mission-critical needs.
Required:
Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly Clearance
Minimum of 5 years data science experience
3 years of experience with Apache Hive, Apache, Pig, Apache Spark or MapReduce, developing queries and analytics
Needs familiarity w/ AWS
Duties:
Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
Develops data-driven solutions to business challenges of moderate scope/complexity.
Utilizes advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict and make discoveries in data.
May use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, efficiencies, process improvements, and other business outcomes.
May assist with identifying opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
