Business Systems AnalystLocation: Sunnyvale, CADuration: 12 moThe successful candidate will be part of our client's Engineering team in the Project Management Organization and use their domain knowledge expertise to collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering leads to deliver a detailed functional design document to the EPM and applicable engineering teams to implement, based on a comprehensive BRD and gap analysis done for the project. The EPO will work with Engineering teams closely through the design and development phase to finalize functional requirements, prepare design playback and demos for the UAT team once the project is implemented.JOB DESCRIPTIONCollaborate with Product Managers to ensure that there is a comprehensive Business Requirements documentCreate a timeline for the requirements discussion sessions to identify and close the gaps in requirements documentCreation a Functional Design Document that will be provided to the applicable engineering teamsEnsure that Accessibility requirements are addressed and included in the Functional DesignEnsure that Security requirements are addressed and included in the Functional DesignPlan and facilitate the project playback to all interested parties prior to the start of feature developmentJOB REQUIREMENTSCandidate must have solid to exceptional domain knowledge of e-commerce systemsBusiness or Functional Analyst experience preferredStrong communication skills are a must have - both written and verbal; ability to communicate with business and engineering stakeholders in their respective languageAbility to create teams and partnerships with business and other Engineering functions (Shared Service Groups)Must be able to present to a large audience with confidence and clarityAbility to elicit explicit and implicit requirements from business stakeholdersStrong analytical skills and ability to think through user journeys and use case scenariosShould be able to strike a balance between business asks and engineering complexityGood understanding of web technologiesMust focus on attention to detailsShould be able to work with sense of urgency and have a quick turnaround in deliverables in exception scenariosFeedback 11/12 Hi Gayatri9:00i think we will pass on Jaya!She seems to have the experience but i couldn't get any specific examples from her on many thingsHoward gave me the exact same feedback. It feels like someone that may have more of a talking game that doesn't necessarily pay attention to details. Also, there were several other areas too -when asked simple thing like how do you follow up to get folks to attend a wide audience meeting? she said "am a strong RM, everyone attends my meetings i was a bit taken aback by it Howard got the same responseAlso, one basic thing - she took the call from some device that kept movingi thought it was may be just when talking to me but apparently the same with them as well It felt very unprofessional , the way the call was handled device kept movingwe could only see half her face some timesnot sure how serious she is about this So, overall there are several red flags and we don't think she will fit this role you know the kind of rigor hereso lets find someone more suitable please this is my highest priority right now, so i will give u time at the earliest needed let me know when you have someone else to consider thank you again!
