Project Manager Full Time Chicagoland, IL Krasan Consulting Services is looking to hire a full time Project Manager with broad experience managing Enterprise Projects, stepping in as a Business Analyst, or as a Testing Manager. The successful individual will have a clear understanding of the role of a consultant, experience with Traditional, Hybrid, and Agile methodologies. In this role the project manager will be writing winning proposals and support pursuit teams. Although the work may occasionally be remote the candidate is expected to live in the greater Chicago area. Responsibilities for Project Manager: Project leader to deliver customer initiatives on time and on budget, work on site at customer engagements as assigned from time to time. Play multiple roles from PM to BA, to Test Manager and Trainer; work with customers and internal personnel promoting the company's business. Will establish project scope, objectives and success criteria on proposal and projects one is assigned to. Responsible to establishing resource plans, aligning staff, and managing work activities for project success. Will manage customer expectations and maintain a strong and positive relationship with the customer, while ensuring that the customer understands the project issues and limitations. Lead activities in preparing the project budget and manage costs to meet that budget. Develop and maintain Project Schedules, detailed Project Plans and other project artifacts that align with industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution, Provide project updates and progress on a consistent basis to the company and the client stakeholders. Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers, likewise, manage project team members assign tasks and ensure deliverables completed to expectations. Monitor progress and adjust as needed, measure project performance to identify areas for improvement. Work internally with pursuit teams, drafting proposals and maintaining customer relationships to promote the company's services. Qualifications for Project Manager: Higher education degree, with interest in technology, science, and business. 10 to 15 years of professional experience with 5 to 8 years of project management. Accomplished and experience in drafting proposals. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Proven experience as a Scrum Master leading various scrum team. Proven ability to solve problems creatively. Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. Experience seeing projects through the full development life cycle. Excellent analytical skills, impeccable verbal, and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, accomplished in managing difficult situations, and extremely resourceful. Proven record of accomplishment completing projects according to a pre-established scope, budget, and timeline; as well as defining the same from the bottom up. Experience in ERP implementations, such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, or SAP; experience managing custom development and experience implement web applications and websites.
