Level II Applications Developer

Description Robert Half is seeking an Applications Developer with Ellucian Banner (ERP) Software experience. This position is remote. Candidates with higher education experience are highly preferred. Qualifications include: •Responsible for participating in and/or leading projects related to the design, development, implementation and maintenance of enterprise applications in support of the the business •Extensive knowledge of Ellucian's Banner Student system both functionally and technically, focused on General Student, Registration and Academic History modules required. •Senior level Oracle PL/SQL programming knowledge required. •Significant experience creating and maintaining Oracle packages. •Ability to use PL/SQL programming for web server calls within the Oracle Fusion Middleware framework to prepare dynamic web page for data retrieval and data input. •Familiarity creating XML data files and processing XML response files. •Ability to prepare SOAP or RESTful API calls to external applications. •Ability to use Perl scripting language to place SOAP API calls and program extracts from SQL Server database. •Ability to query and extract data from a SQL Server database as well as Oracle databases. •Experience working within detail oriented and/or graduate school environments in healthcare. •Knowledge of eValue system for clinical placement and evaluation or similar product. •Knowledge of student placement lottery systems, such as one45, or a similar software, such as eValue's Optimizer scheduler tool. •Knowledge of Visual Basic as it applies to programming macro modules within Microsoft 365. •Develop and maintain interfaces between key information and enterprise systems in support of the Office of Clinical Education and Provost Office. •Integrate disparate sources of data and prepare high level analyses using various software programs or programing languages (e.g., Excel, SQL, VBA, etc.). •Extend available baseline functionality of Ellucian's Banner student and faculty/advisor modules and other systems for use by Offices of Clinical Education. •Program new applications and integrations that develop and extend utilization for Clinical Education offices in Ellucian's Banner student and faculty/advisor modules and other systems. •Investigate and resolve application and system integration issues which may result from code defects, changes in associated systems, changes in data sources, etc. This may involve coordination with functional users, DBAs, application developers and ITS management. •Ability to work with administrators from various departments For consideration please contact Jonathon Blust @ .
