overviewThe

Principal Data Architect I, reporting to

Director, Marketing Technology is responsible for delivering the data infrastructure to enable a predictable, efficient, scalable growth engine. As part of the Data, Infrastructure and Reporting team, you’ll architect, build, deploy and manage the flow of data from source systems into data lakes, warehouses and stores. This role requires a senior level data architect that can work with minimal direction – must be able to drive complex projects from start to finish.

A day in the life…

  • Architecting, deploying and managing ETL and data flow processes
  • Working with Leadership to assess project scope and define project plans
  • Analyzing and translating business requirements into functional and technical requirements and design
  • Researching and evaluating capability of other systems, alternative solutions to recommend the most scalable and cost-effective solution for system design
  • Designing, implementing and analyzing high performing queries
  • In-depth investigations of specific problem areas, or mapping existing user requirements

Qualifications

What we are looking for…

  • 5-8years’ experience with ETL, Data Integration and/or warehouse design and modeling
  • Data warehouse expertise and experience in working with AWS
  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Business, Information Management, Computer Science Engineering related fields.
  • Experience working with Metadata, MDM, and Data Quality tool suites
  • Experience with cloud based database solutions (Amazon Redshift etc.)
  • An excellent problem solver and able to quickly grasp complex challenges
  • A skillful communicator, especially over remote working tools (conferencing, online systems)
