Job Description Title: Help Desk Support Tier I (Microsoft, VOIP, Vonage) Location/ Remote : On site Type: (Contract to hire) 6+ months Pay : $19- $20/ hour contract Our Dallas area technology leaders seeks (1) one full time contract to hire Help Desk Support Technician for their Tier 1 Support. Full Job Description The day-to-day tasks of a help desk support team vary depending on the needs of the users or systems on a given day. Help desk support personnel can plan for upgrades, updates, and maintenance tasks, but there will always be unexpected issues that arise in a given day. Responsibilities: Interacting with the users in remote offices to provide generic Level 1 and some Level 2 support for IT issues such as password resets, email setup, file location, etc. • Assist in setting up new equipment and managing user agreements when gear needs to be transferred or returned. • Assist users accessing the VOIP Phone System and managing ticket submittals to Vonage if the issue cannot be resolved in house. • Providing basic and/or thorough troubleshooting information about any of Luxor's systems. • Assist the IT Manager in submitting and tracking ticket requests with our vendors. • Training users in and troubleshooting the Timeclock System software • Assist the IT Manager with network equipment and be an immediate resource for internet connectivity issues in remote sites. • Assist with writing and maintaining SOPs as per directed by the IT Manager. • Assist the offices with printer issues, such as connectivity, errors, replacing parts or working with the Vendor to replace equipment. • Manage and proactively monitor the RMM agent remote tool for machines to be updated with new user information • Assisting with hardware issues and IT projects as needed. Requirements: • Proven experience or schooling as a help desk technician or other customer support role • Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues without supervision • Strong organizational skills • Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills Benefits: Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insuranceVision insuranceBe a part of the ConsultNet difference.
