Job Description:Enterprise Overview:Manages a medium-large segment or multiple related units in a GWIM support operations function for one or more product areas such as funds transfer, collateral mgt/margins, corporate actions, static data/data management, control, trader support, clearance/settlement, documentation/confirmations, customer service, new accounts,client valuations, document processing or statement/billing processing. Manages operations functions that typically have a high level of regulatory risk, monetary exposure and loss potential due to transaction size and daily production windows, which can impact client relationships. Manages daily activities and ensures adherence to operating procedures and regulatory requirements. Develops and implements new processes and procedures to improve operating efficiency, timeliness and workflow coordination. Performs management functions such as hiring, training, performance planning, coaching, and disciplinary action. May have responsibility or provides input for budget/expense management, reporting and forecasting. Requires full knowledge of operations management with prior operations management experience in the specific functional/product area managed. This associate regularly interacts with business partners and their support groups (Compliance, Audit, Finance, etc.), as well as external clients. Generally 5-7 years or more experience is preferred. LOB Description: T he candidate will support the Operational Excellence work within Wealth Management Operations, leading Process Owners through critical aspects of OpEx for their Processes. This will include coordination and execution of deliverables as well as ongoing support for Understanding, Managing and Improving Processes. The Process Engineer will be aligned to specific WMO Single Processes for ongoing support and collaboration with Process Owners, SLT members and Transformation Project Managers. The individual will manage and escalate issues to the Execution Lead, resolve training and communication gaps, and provide routine updates and status reporting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide Dedicated support to Process Owners for approximately 8-10 Single Processes
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of processes supported
  • Collaborate with Transformation and Workflow colleagues on improvement opportunities as well as evolution of OpEx artifacts and processes are enhanced
  • Provide coaching, guidance and support for all OpEx deliverables and Policy and Procedure adherence
  • Facilitate working sessions to ensure comprehensive approach across WMO
  • Creates structured routines with Process Owners and SLT to provide transparency and support engagement
  • Liaise with CSWO OpEx Team and Process Owners/delegates to ensure consistent communication, support and expectations
  • Liaise with other Process Advisors and SLT to identify and communicate best practices, increase efficiency and evolve the Program within WMO
  • Facilitate alignment with WMO OpEx program across Process Owners
  • Manage issues and escalate to Execution Lead as necessary
  • Resolve training and communication gaps with Process Owners
  • OpEx subject matter expert for SLT
  • Facilitate routine updates and status reporting to applicable SLT members
Required Skills:
  • Min. 5 years Operations experience
  • Demonstrated leadership
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to modify approach based on audience
  • Displays courage in challenging status quo and questioning current state
  • Ability to act and lead independently
  • Ability to logically organize work in manageable components, develop execution plans and lead others through completion
