What We Offer: Nasdaq is looking for an engaging Principal Product Manager to lead the Nasdaq Fund Network (NFN) in developing data and analytics on Mutual Funds and Unit Investment Trusts, Collective Investment Trusts and other products registered on NFN. The successful candidate will work across the product development life cycle to bring new initiatives to market in conjunction with client demand. The ideal candidate has a proven understanding of investment products (e.g. Mutual Funds, Exchange Traded Funds, Closed-End Funds, Unit Investment Trusts, Structured Products and other retail products), related data and analytics, clients consuming this information and the ecosystem encompassing it. They will be able to drive growth for Nasdaq in these products through relationships with new and existing customers of NFN. NFN facilitates the collection and dissemination of performance, NAV, valuation, and strategy-level reference data for over 35,000 investable products to 100 million plus investors. Our product enables improved discoverability, as each product is registered with a unique symbol along with greater transparency and amplified reach.   • What You Will Do:

    Our team leads ongoing prioritization of development, improvements, data collection, and distribution including supervising the operational delivery of the service to clients and works with sales and marketing to ensure alignment of go-to-market strategy. Our team serves as the primary point of contact with clients and ensure client satisfaction.

    Your day-to-day:

  • Drive growth of the NFN product as the product owner making appropriate decisions on the right path forward
  • Works with customers (internal and external) to define product roadmap and help define strategic direction improvements
  • Be responsible for the capturing and analyzing data from product issuers on investment vehicles and build performance metrics, comparative analysis resources, and other creative solutions
  • In collaboration with the operation team, cleanse and validate data from asset managers to build insights into the Mutual Funds and other investment vehicles.
  • Work with customers to build and maintain positive relationships and provide excellent support
  • Assists business owners and partners in defining business and system requirements
  • Responds to support issues and participates in analysis and resolution on behalf of the business, raising issues as needed
  • Communicate client requirements to operational teams and subcontractors

  • What We Expect:

  • Bachelors Degree (in finance, economics, math, or quantitative subject area preferred) or equivalent work experience. Advanced Degree preferred.
  • Comfortable working within agile development framework
  • Sophisticated knowledge of Excel, programming experience a plus (R, Python, VBA)
  • In depth knowledge of investment products and different investment structures
  • Experience with Asset Management firms or in support of Asset Managers
  • Strong data analytics and data validation experience
  • Comfortably working with large volumes of data and analyzing the data to ensure high quality
  • At least 7-10 years of relevant work experience
  • Series 7 required, Series 24 a plus
