Job Description

We are aiming to deepen our client's third-party retail partnerships by empowering partners to activate and update customer accounts on site. Our team is building an API layer that enables any partner—including big-box retailers and tech specialty stores—to perform new activations, add new lines, make upgrades, etc., while the customer is in the store.

As Senior Java Developer on this project, you’ll design, develop, and deliver cloud-native applications in a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating with several enterprise development teams. You’ll provide business value by participating in architectural and technical discussions, understanding business requirements, coding as per department standards, and implementing code as per the CI/CD process. This is a high-priority project for our client, so the team’s success will be highly visible at all levels of the organization.

About the team:

The Logic20/20 Digital Transformation team applies design thinking and next-gen technologies to solve our clients’ toughest business challenges. You’ll work side-by-side with architects, managers, and engineering consultants to gain a 360-degree perspective of the challenge at hand while contributing your unique perspective todevelopinnovative solutions.

About you:

  • You have a solid software engineering foundation in data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, source code management, unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, etc.
  • You have excellent technical problem-solving, design, coding, and testing skills
  • You’re self-motivated and able to work well under pressure

Qualifications

  • 5+ years software development experience
  • Strong background coding in Java 7 or 8
  • Experience creating and consuming RESTful, Query, and hybrid APIs using OAuth 2.0
  • Experience in server-side programming
  • Experience building Java microservices in Spring Boot or Spring Cloud
  • Experience in a CI/CD environment
  • Knowledge of core CS concepts such as common data structures and algorithms, profiling/optimization, cost optimization problems/machine learning

We'd also be super impressed if you have

  • Production experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
  • Experience withAWS
  • Experience with test automation
