Mobile Drug & Alcohol Tester

Looking for either a certified DOT trained tester OR someone willing to be trained for DOT drug/alcohol testing. We provide all training if necessary. The equipment can be provided if necessary as well, with arrangements. We conduct mobile alcohol breath tests and then instructions for a urine sample collection for the drug test that is packaged and shipped to a laboratory for testing.

This testing is for the railroads in your area, servicing about a 75 mile radius. We go to their location to perform this work. A railroad manager will be onsite to present the donor(s).

Pays per job. All mileage is paid at the current IRS rate and an additional bonus is paid for longer distances. This would be considered a part time position, 1099 sub-contractor.

Railroads do operate 24-hours a day, so jobs can occur anytime day or night, most jobs are scheduled in the early morning around 7:00 AM. Having open availably to accept emergency call outs is a must, again, these testing events can happen with very little notice, having an open schedule is important.

The best fit for this position is someone:

Semi-retired or someone only looking for part time work

The ability to accept work on demand for emergency call outs (most tests are however scheduled several days in advance)

Willing to complete the required training. This will include reading the regulation and meeting for in person instructions/training/certification.

Good communication skills to work with our office as a team

Ability to follow directions

Must be detailed oriented

You must care about the work you will perform and present yourself in a professional manner.
