Courier Driver: Part Time / On-demand / On-call
Same-day Courier Company looking for driver to cover the following areas; NOVA, DC, MD.
The ideal driver resides in the Ashburn, Chantilly, Centreville or Herndon area
Availability: On demand jobs are dispatched between 8am to 3pm
1. Part Time / On-demand / On-call 1099 contractor position. Messaged via text or a phone call to do on demand jobs one to multiple times a day, depending on workload.
2. Dedicated route on Tuesday and Thursday of every week.
3. Occasional Weekend jobs
Location: Most jobs come out of Herndon, Chantilly, Aldie and Ashburn areas
Reimbursement: Ranges from $0.80/mile to $6.00/mile. Dedicated route paid on sliding scale based on mileage.
Requirements:
Own Transportation – Reliable and Gas Efficient (Responsible for your own gas & upkeep of your vehicle)
Working smart phone with internet access (iPhone or Android)
Good Driving Record, Valid License, Registration, and Insurance (copy of each needed upon hire)
Able to carry up to 50lbs. (Work involves lifting to and from businesses & residential areas.)
Speaks fluent English with good communication skills
Dress code is business casual
