Job Description As an Integrated Technologies Architect on the CareAware Device Integration team, you will be responsible for providing consulting implementation services to clients throughout North America for medical device connectivity products. These products include CareAware Bedside Medical Device Integration (BMDI), CareAware Lab Medical Device Integration (MDI), CareAware Infusion Suite, and CareAware VitalsLink. Services include the integrated technology deployments of hardware, software and clinical workflow consulting. As a member of the CareAware Device Integration track you will be focused on collaboratively guiding clients with net new, add-on, and optimization deployments of integrated devices in various clinical settings. This includes integration of lab analyzers, anesthesia systems, patient monitoring, respiratory ventilators, infusion pumps, and medication dispensing cabinets. You will assist with the development and enhancement of CareAware products, methodologies, documentation, and best practices for technical implementations. You will also be responsible for collaborating across organizations with IP and strategy to enhance, identify defects, and update documentation across our products. Additionally, you will establish internal and external relationships to create a high level of client satisfaction via client delivery while also providing coaching and guidance to internal stakeholders in areas of product expertise. You will support clients through regular project events, testing calls, status meetings, and conversion support across multiple products. You will contribute to implementation best practices, troubleshoot device integration, assess risk, and mitigate findings throughout client engagements in partnership with engagement management. As an Integrated Technology Architect, you are bridging the gap between IP and Implementation (Consulting). Additionally, you will facilitate technical discovery and provide expertise based on the client specific environment, while also establishing client relationships with the goal of achieving high level client satisfaction. This role requires managing multiple work assignments and meeting utilization targets. When necessary, you will escalate issues to Engineering and Support Management while providing guidance to internal stakeholders in areas of product expertise. This role requires strong oral and written communication skills, including a high level of comfort interacting with clinical, IT, and biomedical equipment staff up to the mid-manager level.Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 6 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 1 year of health care information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience
    • At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
      • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or relevant degree or equivalent work experience
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years experience working with Cerner Millennium
  • 1-2 years experience working with CareAware iBus
  • 1 year experience working with Linux Operating Systems
  • 1 year experience with HL7 standards
  • 2 years of technical troubleshooting and problem-solving experience
  • 1 year experience with medical devices such as anesthesia carts, physiological monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and/or laboratory analyzers
  • 1 year of application of basic networking principles

Expectations
  • Willing to travel up to 80% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
