AR / AP Agents - Long Beach, CA

My client has a location, in the Long Beach, CA area, that handles their asset trucks plus they use a lot of outside carriers and load boards. So, there is a lot of AR and AP invoices between Truck Carriers, Customers, and vendors.

Due to a lot of growth, my client is looking for 2 agents that have previous experience in Accounts Receiving and Accounts Payable. Preferably, you will have performed this function in the Truck Brokerage Industry.

• Responsible for timely and accuracy of billing (invoicing)/charging of all rates plans, subscription charges, fees, taxes, etc.
• Receive and verifies carrier invoices to agreed upon rates and process payment to the carrier.
• Verifies that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
• Provide exceptional freight bill auditing to internal and external business partners.
• Clarifies any questionable invoice items, prices, or receiving required approval signatures.
• Corrects errors or lists discrepancies for adjustment, including communication via phone and/or email with customers and/or carrier partners.
