If so, this could be your #dreamjob!The Success Guide Team is hiring a Commerce Cloud Technical Architect. Our Technical Architects are laser-focused on solving for the most relevant customer challenges, solution architecture best practices, early adopter customer use cases, developing and distributing product and feature implementation guidance.This is a customer facing role, and at least 60% of your time will be focused on customer engagements, where you will maximize value for our customers, working strategically alongside our Product, Sales and Customer Success teams to drive clear business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a customer-centric mentality, willing to go the extra mile for the customer and break down barriers to ensure customer success.What type of engagements can you expect to be involved in? Our team typically works on multiple customers at a time and helps our field teams through our Commerce product and domain expertise. Some engagements can be resolved in a single call while others can span multiple. Sample engagements:Provide solution design expertise, implementation guidance and technical best practices for our Commerce Cloud products

Support New Product Introductions (NPI) and be the first to learn our new products and support early adopters

Help customers of all sizes leverage our new innovations and capabilities

Provide technical consultation, review, and recommendations to a customer needing to integrate Commerce Cloud into their overall Salesforce blueprint

Serve as a trusted advisor on customer’s path towards digital transformation

Your deep exposure to how customers are solving problems makes you a valuable source of insight to our product and field teams. The ideal candidate will enjoy working closely with our partners in TMP (Technology Marketing Product), Alliances, Customer Success Group and beyond, to help further drive customer success, product adoption, and customer transformations.ResponsibilitiesDirect customer engagement, to provide subject matter expertise as warranted, including but not limited to technical guidance, business operations, best practices.

Support new product/feature/capability adoption programs for specific Commerce Cloud features and capabilities.

Provide content expertise and thought leadership for product and feature implementation best practices guides, and enablement assets.

Participate in program development and execution that helps to amplify technical expertise across the Commerce customer base and internal stakeholders.

Required Skills & ExpertiseExpert knowledge of B2C Commerce technical architecture: Platform, Infrastructure, APIs, Standard and Custom Objects. Knowledge of Salesforce Order Management, B2B Commerce and Core platform knowledge a plus.

Thorough understanding of the fundamentals of Commerce industry, the B2C Commerce platform, and how our customers use the platform to manage their business.

Direct customer engagement experience up to executive leadership, including strategic guidance on feature adoption, implementation, and technical organization design. Focused on guiding customers to value with Commerce Cloud Consulting experience a plus.

Interacts well with both technical and non-technical customers, attains relevant technical and business requirements, analyzes information and designs comprehensive solutions.

Develops visually rich and professional conceptual design documents targeted to varying audiences of business and technical aptitude.

A particular desire to continually study new technologies and functionality, as well as be involved in projects that push the capabilities of existing technologies.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience and evangelize best practices.

Strong presentation skills. Able to effectively present and defend point of view to a variety of audiences.

Ability to work independently and be a self-starter, prioritize, multitask and perform effectively under pressure.
