Glacier Precast Concrete is hiring for a full time big rig diesel mechanic.
We are medium sized business with 30 people working in production, delivery/logistics and Sales. We are looking for a big rig diesel mechanic. We have 35 rigs/trailers/fork trucks that need maintenance. We have our own shop and tools on site for maintenance work. We have two truck shop bays.
As a diesel mechanic, you will:
Maintain our semi trucks, boom trucks, trailers and large fork lifts
Maintain our small truck inventory
Preform preventative maintenance on our equipment
Maintain annual inspection of our rigs
Preform corrective maintenance as required
Ability to weld and fabricate
Nice to haves:
Have CDL A and able to drive our trucks as time permits
Ability to operate truck mounted cranes
Work schedule is 40 hours a week. Overtime does occur from time to time. We pay competitive wages and offer paid medical and 401k.
